The Use of found objects as puppets

So i have Been and always have loved the puppets that were made from there subject matter.  In chapter four i saw a picture of Jane Philips' Miss Junk who is mearly a little cloth a necklace upside down water can and a pair of empty frame glasses. the purpose is to let kids better connect to the subject mater through a feeling of fun and a slight sense of humor. The traits of this puppet are to mimic not replicate actualality. The traits in this Character appear to to be that of a elderly gardener or some one who is caring enough to stop and smell the flowers. Pg 100 Chpt 4

so While trying to do some sort of homework it came to me to start watching films with puppets in them. so among many i have seen here are some of my top ten so to speak that depict puppets
10 Never ending story (val-core the luck dragon)
9 The dark Crystal ( the land strider also listed in our text)
8 The new Karate Kid ( shadow puppets at the festival)
7 the labyrinth oh just name the whole cast list
6 Fraggle rock although a series i have a dvd of them lol
5 Mr rogers all the hand puppets and  the trolley
4 Sesame street all the Jim Henson Muppet
3 little monsters his friend the big blue guy when hes just a pile of clothes
2Clash of the titans the old version the owl
1 coming in at my top ten the star wars saga any thing in the first 4 through 6  puppets every where

just some interestingly uses of puppets that i found in modern media enjoy
